OVER 2 MILLION NUMBER OF FILES CURRENTLY AT LEGAL COURTS
According to the number of pending files published by the Ministry of Justice every day, an average of 7 thousand files come to the civil courts per day. The number of pending files is over 2 million.
While the number of new files per day in Turkey exceeds 7 thousand, the pending (still ongoing) civil court case is over 2 million 100 thousand according to the ministry figures. Cases are shared between civil courts on the basis of division of labor and division of labor according to the rules of duty and authority in the Code of Civil Procedure.
