The Presidency of the Court of Cassation has published statistics on the average number of days in which the case files of the Court of Cassation are resolved. According to the published data, in 2020, the Civil Chambers of the Court of Cassation resolves cases approximately in 459 days, and the Criminal Chambers of the Court of Cassation approximately in 424 days.
In the data, in which the resolution periods of each civil and criminal chamber have been evaluated separately, the 2nd Civil Chamber of the Court of Cassation with 79 days and the 2nd Criminal Chamber of the Court of Cassation with 140 days have drawn attention as the best periods for case resolution among themselves.
