 Expertise Fees for 2023 have been determined


The 2023 Minimum Expertise Fee Tariff, which regulates the fees to be paid to the experts in 2023 and the procedures and principles regarding their payment, has been published.


The 2023 Minimum Expertise Fee Tariff, which regulates the fees to be paid to the experts in 2023 and the procedures and principles regarding their payment, has been published.

With the communiqué of the Ministry of Justice published in the Official Gazette dated 14 December 2022 and numbered 32043, the amount of the fee to be paid to the experts in 2023 and the procedures and principles regarding the payment were determined.
According to the tariff that entered into force on January 1, 2023, an increase was made in the expert fee to be paid to the experts per file compared to the previous year. Fees vary according to the type of judicial authority in which the expert reports.

Accordingly, if the experts work in enforcement and bankruptcy directorates, magistrates' courts, consumer courts, enforcement law courts, enforcement criminal courts, public prosecutors' offices or criminal judgeships of peace, 580 Turkish Liras; 770 Turkish Liras if they take office in family courts, labor courts or cadastral courts; 960 Turkish Liras if they take office in administrative courts, tax courts or criminal courts of first instance; 1,160 Turkish Liras if they take office in commercial courts of first instance, intellectual and industrial property courts or heavy penal courts; If they take office in regional courts of appeal or regional administrative courts, 220 Turkish Liras; If they take office in the Supreme Court or the Council of State, they will receive a fee of 1,540 Turkish Liras.

The Communiqué also states that it is possible to determine the expert's fee above or below these fees, if the situation of the case requires it.
