With the Ministry of Justice's project "Our Courthouses and Staff Breathe for Their Twins in the Earthquake Zone", the courthouses in the disaster area were matched with other courthouses to contribute to the execution of judicial services and support in some other matters.
Two earthquakes with a magnitude of 7.7 and 7.6 that occurred on February 6, 2023 in Kahramanmaraş caused the disruption of judicial activities in the region, as in all areas. Thereupon, the Ministry of Justice was organized so that the process could be run in a healthy way with courthouse matching.
In this way, both the central and district courthouses in Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, Adıyaman, Gaziantep, Malatya, Osmaniye, Adana, Şanlıurfa, Diyarbakır and Kilis were matched with the courthouses in other provinces.
Twin courthouses for 85 districts in 10 cities: Ankara, Ankara BİM, Ankara West, Denizli, Balikesir, Mersin, Ordu, Afyonkarahisar, Rize, Edirne, Karabuk, Istanbul, Istanbul BIM, Eskisehir, Sivas, Aydin, Istanbul Anadolu, Tekirdag, Nevsehir, Bakırköy, Manisa Administration, Manisa, Sakarya, Kayseri, Yozgat, Bursa, Bursa BAM, Bursa BİM, Trabzon, Erzurum, Muğla, Çanakkale, Antalya, Antalya Administration, Kütahya, Zonguldak, Erzincan, Sinop, Gümüşhane, Artvin, Kocaeli, Isparta, Bolu, Corum, Konya, Konya BAM, Konya BIM, Van Mardin, Bayburt, Kastamonu, Giresun, Bingol, Sirnak, Muş, Bitlis, Bartin, Samsun, Samsun BIM, Aksaray, Uşak, Kirklareli, Nigde, Tokat, Batman, Elazig, Courthouses in Ağrı, Kırşehir, Siirt, İzmir, İzmir BAM, İzmir BİM, Amasya, Yalova, Kırıkkale, Burdur, Karaman, Çankırı, Kars, Ardahan, Bilecik, Iğdır, Hakkari, Tunceli and Düzce.
