Application Period to the European Court of Human Rights has been Reduced to 4 Months

With the additional protocol numbered 15 to the European Convention on Human Rights, the time limit for applying to the European Court of Human Rights has been reduced from 6 months to 4 months. With the amendment valid since February 1, 2022, it has become necessary to apply to the European Court of Human Rights within 4 months after the final decision in domestic law. The amendment has been adopted by 47 member states of the Council of Europe.
