11 PENALTY INSTITUTIONS CLOSED IN 2020
According to the report published by the Ministry of Justice, the activities of 11 penitentiary institutions whose physical and economic lifespans were completed in 2020 were terminated.
In line with the investment planning for the years 2020-2024, the Ministry of Justice has closed some penal institutions. 11 penitentiary institutions, differing in types and cities, were closed in 2020. The total capacity of the closed institutions is 2112 people.
