The period from 1839 when the Edict of Tanzimat was declared to 1909 when Abdulhamid was dethroned will be discussed in the speech. The furniture used in the palaces built for the purpose of residence or accommodation in this period is the symbol of the change in the Ottoman social structure. In this context, three sultans will be tried to be defined through the furniture they used in their historical period in the seminar.
