Çinili Bathhouse, located in Zeyrek, Fatih district of Istanbul, is one of the first works of Mimar Sinan. This important work is preparing to temporarily open its doors to visitors for the first time within the scope of the 17th Istanbul Biennial, between September 17 and November 20, 2022.
As one of the important works of Ottoman bath architecture, Çinili Bathhouse was built by Mimar Sinan in the 1540s at Barbaros Hayrettin Pasha’s order. The conservation and restoration project of the work was carried out by KA-BA Architecture. It offers a unique opportunity for those who want to visit this important building before the grand opening planned to be held next year.
