NASA plans to launch the ‘Laser Communications Relay’ system into space with a rocket on the 4th of December.
An important development, which will be the first end-to-end laser relay system to send and receive data at a speed of approximately 1.2 gigabits to the Earth via infrared lasers with low cost and low power, has been announced by NASA. Inviting the public to this event, NASA has shared information about how to participate in the event on its website.
