As a result of a hacker attack on LinkedIn, one of the popular career platforms, users' personal information was stolen. The seized information was put up for sale on a hacker forum site. It is seen that 700 million users have personal information in the content published on the forum site. The hacker, who put the information on sale, shared a file containing the data of 1 million users to draw attention to the accuracy given. In the shared file, there are users' names, surnames, e-mail addresses, home addresses, location information, and user names of their social media accounts.
