The brain activities of an 87-year-old epilepsy patient were recorded at the time of death for the first time with EEG. Scientists have determined that the brain of a dying person is engaged in the same activities as a brain of a person that is dreaming, meditating, or remembering the past, and can remember the last moments of his life. The research team published the results in the journal
Frontiers in Aging Neuroscience.
It was stated that this study will provide new information about brain activities and how it can change common perceptions such as when life ends and when is the best time for organ donation.
