In accordance with our license agreement with the electronic libraries and databases we use, electronic libraries and databases can only be accessed through the IP numbers of Istanbul Gelişim University. When you want to connect to the databases from anywhere other than Istanbul Gelişim University campuses, the settings shown below must be made in your Internet browser. Proxy Server then provides user IP authentication with username and password query.
Once you make the settings for once, you do not need to change them later. It can stay permanently. It does not affect your internet access. You do not need to make these settings when you are at any of our campuses other than the YDYO Campus. The system will automatically recognize you and access the databases.
Your Username and Password are the same as the information you use for Wi-fi in our institution.
(If you have problems with this password box, you can use the E-KAPI system to change/renew it. For this: https://e-kapi.gelisim.edu.tr/ after logging in to the system https://e-kapi.gelisim.edu.tr You can renew your wi-fi (wireless internet) password from the /Password/PasswordManage section. The proxy system will ask you to enter the wi-fi information.)
