Weekend Holidays in Muslim Countries

In countries where the majority of the population is Muslim, the days of the weekend are changing.

Saturday and Sunday are holidays in Morocco, Pakistan, Senegal and Tunisia, Fridays in Afghanistan, Djibouti, Palestine and Iran, Thursday and Friday in Somalia and Yemen, Bahrain, Algeria, Iraq, Qatar, Kuwait, Libya, Mauritania In Egypt, Niger, Sudan, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Jordan, it is applied as a holiday on Fridays and Saturdays.
