Transforming Professions and Competencies
According to the Future of Our Business report published by McKinsey, which is thought to be valid until the 2030s, the need for physical competencies by 8% and basic (cognitive) competencies by 10% will decrease compared to today's business life. However, the need for high cognitive abilities by 7%, social competences by 22% and technological competence by 63% will increase.
The opinion generally accepted as a result of the researches on business life is that almost half of the professions that exist today will be transformed or even disappear in the next 25 years. In this regard, in the study named Emerging Jobs Report, which will shed light on us for the next 5 years, published by Linkedin in 2020, it has been stated that the demand for the future of business life will increase by 74% in the first place and will be for artificial intelligence expertise. It has been revealed that this demand will be followed by robotics engineering with an increase of 40% and data science, which will increase by 37%.
