Hybrid and Remote Working Policies of Large Companies

Google recently announced its post-pandemic work policy that requires employees to work in the office at least three days a week. Google's corporate culture; He argues that working mostly in the office is necessary to maintain the company's social capital, i.e. people's trust and connection to one another.

More importantly, three days a week is just a transitional period. Google management plans to mandate full-time office work in the next few years. A survey of more than a thousand Google employees shows that two-thirds of employees are unhappy with being forced to stay in the office three days a week, and many are intent on leaving.

The same is true for Apple. The company made it mandatory to work in the office three days a week. Likewise, Apple faces employee dissatisfaction, and many of the employees plan to leave if they have to return.

In contrast, many large tech companies, such as Amazon and Twitter, offer their employees much more flexibility with extensive remote work options.
