 Beyond Burnout


With the support of the Harvard Business Review, a study was conducted in the fall of 2020 with more than 1,500 participants in a variety of industries, roles and seniority levels in 46 countries. Statistics obtained for the research are as follows:


·         89% of the employees stated that their working life is getting worse
·         85% of employees say their welfare level has decreased
·         56% stated that their job demands have increased.
·         62% of employees experienced "frequent" or "excessively frequent" burnout in the last three months and had difficulty managing their workload,
·         57% of the employees say that the pandemic has a "big impact" on their jobs or "directs their jobs completely",
·         55% of the employees do not think that they can balance their home and work life,
25% of the employees state that they are unable to maintain strong ties with their families, 39% with their colleagues, and 50% with their friends. It was observed that only 21% of the employees participating in the study rated their welfare level as "good" and only 2% as "excellent".
