The main purpose of the competitions in the field of design, where many competitions are held both at home and abroad, is to support young designers. In addition, the fact that competitions are held to encourage young designers to be present in the production section enables the creation of many designs.
As Colby Sheergalis of De Beers Group, a luxury jewelery brand, said about young designers, “We approach it more as a two-way partnership, as we want to learn from the next generation of designers as well.”
Ecenur Yavuz, a Master Architect, defines herself as being curious about many areas of design and even every subject that touches on design. Yavuz gained experience in different stages of architectural projects such as application project development and site coordination in the field of design as a professional. Apart from his professional career, Yavuz participated in different design competitions and produced graphics. Yavuz, who is interested in computational design, which means 'Computational Design' in English, says that meeting this concept and doing a master's degree on the concept completely changed his design approach and production methods. The concept of computational design is defined as a design method that uses algorithms and parameters to solve design problems.
