Microsoft is Adding Many Features to its AI-Supported Graphic Design Tool, Microsoft Designer. The reason for adding these features is to make it easier and faster to design social media posts. Users will soon be able to access this platform directly through the Edge web browser.
Microsoft Designer was introduced in October 2022. It contains features like Stable Diffusion and allows users to create images using text prompts. Additionally, users can include their designs in projects such as invitations, greeting cards, and social media posts.
Microsoft is offering a version of the Designer application for the Edge web browser. Designer, located in the browser's sidebar, allows users to publish their work on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest without switching to another window. It also provides suggestions for users to access their posts without requiring any extensions.
Microsoft Designer AI can also create text. Users can shape the perspective of the text by selecting a target from a dropdown menu and writing a quick description. The application offers a series of tags and headlines that can be used in social media posts. It also suggests fonts that users can use in their work.
Microsoft Designer AI has also added animation features to liven up designs with text transitions and animated backgrounds. However, Microsoft does not specify whether the platform produces animated assets from scratch, which may mean users have to provide their animations.
Microsoft says it will further improve the Designer's AI-supported features. New updates to the AI-supported graphic design tool, Microsoft Designer, are coming soon.
