Established in 1978 in İstanbul, the GMK (Professional Association of Graphic Designers) has published its exhibition and design works over 40 years in a book. The aim of the association, which has a wide variety of members ranging from creative staff of advertising agencies and design studios, to academics and students, is to develop graphic design in Turkey, to enable the coexistence of designers working in this field and to protect their professional rights.
