The Customs of Cargo From Non-EU Countries Has Been Raised

It has been published in the Official Gazette that the customs duty of goods to be purchased from non-European Union countries by mail or cargo, which does not have a commercial quantity and nature and whose value does not exceed 150 Euro, has been increased by 10 percent to 30%.

In addition, according to the decision, the fixed customs tax to be applied for books or similar printed publications that come to real persons by mail and cargo and have a non-commercial amount and value not exceeding 1,500 Euros for personal use will be zero.
