 Russia Stopped Importing 70 Thousand Tons of Fruit




Russia temporarily stopped the import of some fruits from 33 Turkish and Iranian producers.
 
 
Russia has temporarily suspended fruit imports, including lemons, tangerines, peppers, grapes and pomegranates, from Turkish and Iranian producers, alleging violations of food safety.
The relevant institution announced that 10 thousand tons of pomegranates and 60 thousand tons of grapes imported from Turkey were prevented from entering Russia.
