International Labor Organization Warning of Decline in Global Employment Growth

The World Employment and Social Outlook 2023 report of the International Labor Organization (ILO) has been completed. According to this report, global employment growth and pressure on decent working conditions risk undermining social justice.
The current global economic slowdown, exacerbated by the COVID-19 crisis, has forced too many workers to accept shoddy and low-paid working conditions without social protection and reduced job securit  and exacerbating inequalities, the ILO's new report highlighted.
According to the report of the International Labor Organization, it is stated that in 2023, global employment growth is expected to reach only 1.0 percent, while global unemployment is expected to reach 208 million with an increase of approximately 3 million. It was stated that this estimated increase was largely due to the tight labor supply in developed countries and this would mean reversing the decline in global unemployment in 2020-2022.
According to the principle of Decent Work is the foundation of social justice, it was stated that the decline in the quality of work continued to be a major concern, as well as unemployment, which is estimated.
The COVID-19 crisis has negatively impacted ten years of progress in poverty reduction, and despite the recovery in 2021, the shortage of better job opportunities will continue to worsen.
With the global economic slowdown, it was stated that many workers will accept lower-paying, low-quality, sometimes unfavorable work hours.
