 Foreign Trade Figures for November 2022 Announced




At the meeting held at Adana Chamber of Commerce with the participation of Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) Chairman Mustafa Gültepe and other interested parties, Minister of Commerce Mehmet Muş announced the foreign trade data for November.
In the statement made, it was stated that exports in November increased by 1.9 percent compared to the same month of the previous year and reached 21.9 billion dollars, while exports in the January-November period increased by 14 percent to 231 billion dollars.
Due to the sharp increase in Commodity and Energy prices, imports in November increased by 14 percent compared to the same month of the previous year and amounted to 30 billion 655 million dollars.
In November, the foreign trade balance was realized as (-8.801) billion dollars with an increase of 61.6 percent compared to the same month of the previous year. It was stated that the foreign trade volume increased by 26.3% and reached 562 billion 347 million dollars with an increase of 0.6 (-99.850) billion dollars.
In November 2022, compared to the same month of the previous year; The ratio of exports to imports decreased by 8.5 points to 71.3%, and the share of the top 10 countries with the largest export share in total exports became 48.3%.
While the countries we exported to the most in November were Germany, the USA and Iraq, the countries we imported the most were the Russian Federation, China and Switzerland.
