In February 2023, foreign trade figures compared to the same month of the previous year were as follows:
-The decrease in exports was 6.4%, 18 billion 638 million dollars,
-The increase in imports was 10.6%, 30 billion 833 million dollars,
-Foreign trade volume increased by 3.5% to 49 billion 471 million dollars,
-The increase in the foreign trade balance was 52.8% (-) 12 billion 194 million dollars
In the January-February period of 2023, foreign trade figures compared to the same period of the previous year were as follows:
-Exports increased by 1.5 percent to 38 billion 8 million dollars,
-Imports increased by 15.6 percent to 64 billion 439 million dollars,
-The increase in foreign trade volume was 9.9 percent, 102 billion 447 million dollars,
-Foreign Trade balance increased by 44.7 percent to -26 billion 431 million dollars.
In February of 2023, compared to the same month of the previous year; The ratio of exports to imports decreased by 10.9 points to 60.5 percent. Excluding energy data, the ratio of exports to imports decreased by 21.5 points to 73.5%.
While the countries we exported to the most in December were Germany, Italy, and the USA, the countries we made the most imports from were the Russian Federation, Switzerland, and China.
While the share of the top 10 countries with the largest share in exports in total exports was 48.3%, the share of the top 10 countries with the largest share in imports in total imports was 62.5%.
