 Foreign Trade Data for December 2022 Announced




T.R. Foreign trade data for December 2022 was published in the foreign trade data bulletin of the Ministry of Commerce.
In December of 2022, compared to the same month of the previous year;
-Exports increased by 3.1% to 22 billion 915 million dollars,
-Imports increased by 14.6% to 33 billion 295 million dollars,
-Foreign trade volume increased by 9.6% to 56 billion 210 million dollars,
-Foreign trade balance increased by 52 percent and became -10 billion 381 million dollars.
In the January-December period of 2022, compared to the same period of the previous year;
-Exports increased by 12.9% to 254 billion 210 million dollars,
-Imports increased by 34.3% to 364 billion 395 million dollars,
-Foreign trade volume increased by 24.6% to 618 billion 605 million dollars,
-Foreign Trade balance increased by 138.4% and became -110 billion 186 million dollars.
 
In December of 2022, compared to the same month of the previous year; The ratio of exports to imports decreased by 7.7 points to 68.8%. Excluding energy data, the ratio of exports to imports decreased by 9.2 points to 87.9%.
In December, the countries we exported the most to were Germany, the USA and Russia, while the countries we made the most imports from were the Russian Federation, China and Switzerland. While the share of the top 10 countries with the largest share in exports in total exports was 47.1%, the share of the top 10 countries with the largest share in imports in total imports was 58.5%.
