In April 2023, foreign trade figures compared to the same month of the previous year were as follows:
-The decrease in exports was 17.2%, 19 billion 315 million dollars,
-The decrease in imports was 4.5%, amounting to 28 billion 162 million dollars,
-Foreign trade volume decreased by 10.1% to 47 billion 477 million dollars,
-The increase in the foreign trade balance was 43.9 percent (-) 8 billion 846 million dollars.
In the January-April period of 2023, foreign trade figures compared to the same period of the previous year were as follows:
-Exports decreased by 3.0 percent to 80 billion 874 million dollars,
-Imports increased by 7.2 percent to 124 billion 412 million dollars,
-The increase in foreign trade volume was 2.9 percent, 205 billion 285 million dollars,
-Foreign Trade balance increased by 33.2 percent to 45 billion 538 million dollars.
In April 2023, compared to the same month of the previous year; The ratio of exports to imports decreased by 10.6 points and became 68.6 percent.
Excluding energy data, the ratio of exports to imports decreased by 22.2 points to 78.6%.
While the countries we exported to the most in April were Germany, the United States of America, and Iraq, the countries we imported the most were the Russian Federation, China, and Germany.
While the share of the top 10 countries with the largest share in exports in total exports was 47.5%, the share of the top 10 countries with the largest share in imports in total imports was 58.4%.
