According to the balance of payments statistics published by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) for December, the current account deficit reached the highest level in 1.5 years with 3.84 billion dollars in December. It was announced that there was a deficit of 14.88 billion dollars in the whole of 2021.
