Central Bank Raises Inflation Forecast
In the second inflation report of the year announced by the President of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey Şahap Kavcıoğlu, the Central Bank raised its year-end inflation forecast for 2022 from 23.2 percent to 42.8 percent.
Emphasizing that they attach great importance to the liraization strategy, Kavcıoğlu said, "Additional steps will be taken soon to increase the use of TL-denominated assets as collateral."
