The panel titled "Will Artificial Meat be the Food of the Future?", which is a highly debated topic on the agenda of the Association of Food Engineers was held on 08.05.2021 at 14:00. In the panel, from the department of Food Processing, Food Technology in IGMYO Instructor Kübra SAĞLAM and Fatih EFE were the moderators. In the first session of the panel, Prof. Dr. Kamil Can AKÇALI made a presentation on “New Horizons: Clean Meat”. In the second session, Prof. Dr. Hasan YETİM touched upon the issue and ethical concerns, and in the last session, Prof. Dr. Cavit BİRCAN explained Alternative Protein Sources. After the sessions of the panel, which attracted a lot of attention, a question-answer session was held and the first most comprehensive panel on the subject was held.
