The flagship brand was awarded the same award last year. Although the climate crisis brings great challenges to the aviation industry; Turkish Airlines is at the forefront of voluntary carbon emissions, carbon emissions, sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) use, waste management with sustainable in-flight products, and the sustainable travel experience it offers to its passengers.

In line with its commitment to be a carbon-neutral airline by 2050; expanded the use of aviation fuel (SAF) and added new lines in 2023. In this way, 57,581 tons of fuel was saved and 181,379 tons of greenhouse gas emissions were avoided in 2022. The World Financial Sustainability Awards, which are considered an important reference in the world's finance and business circles, recognize the importance of sustainable development. World Finance, which includes reviews, comments, articles and news reviews on global banking, finance and capital markets, aims to identify the best institutions in countries since 2008, according to a panel of experts in various fields.
