Kownatzki, who held a press conference about the 2022 summer term Izmir flight plan and newly added destinations in a hotel in Izmir, stated that they considered themselves as Turkey's tourism ambassadors in this regard, and that they continued to grow rapidly despite the challenging environment given by the epidemic period. Kownatzki stated that they played an important role in achieving the target of 30 million tourists, set by the Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Ersoy last year, and that they also gave guarantees for the target of 42 million, which was set for this year.
