Pegasus Airlines has announced some results for 2022. Pegasus, which increased the total number of visitors by 33.7% to 26.9 million in 2022, increased its turnover by 139% to 2.45 billion Euros. Pegasus' net profit was 431 million Euros in 2022. Serving a total of 26.9 million guests, of which 10.9 million were on domestic lines and 16 million were on international lines, at the end of 2022, the number of international guests increased by 96.4% compared to the previous year.
Güliz Öztürk, CEO of Pegasus Airlines, evaluates the 2022 financial results as follows: "First of all, I would like to say that we are deeply saddened by the Kahramanmaraş earthquake, which affected the surrounding provinces significantly, and that our pain and loss is great. May Allahu ta ala have mercy on those who lost their lives, condolences to their families, and speedy recovery to our wounded. We, as Pegasus Airlines, have implemented many solidarity actions since the first moment of the earthquake. We have planned more trips to provide various support to our citizens and aid organizations. To date, we have evacuated 152,950 citizens from the earthquake zones with 785 evacuation flights and transported a total of 111 tons of relief materials. We delivered 126,926 citizens and rescue teams to various regions during the flights to the disaster area. We are aware of the necessity of a long-term solidarity process. As the Pegasus family of 6852 people, we did our best for our citizens and aid organizations affected by the earthquake, don't do it. or we will continue. We will get through these difficult days together in solidarity," he said.
