The Kyrgyzstan team, which came to Turkey to participate in the search and rescue efforts after the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş and which affected 11 provinces, and returned to their homeland after completing their duty, were welcomed at the airport with a ceremony and various gifts were presented to them.
The welcoming organization held at Manas Airport for the Kyrgyz search and rescue team was attended by Turkey's Bishkek Ambassador Mr. Ahmet Sadik Doğan, Kyrgyzstan Emergency Situations Minister Mr. Boobek Ajikeyev, Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Manas University Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan and various students, representatives of non-governmental organizations, Kyrgyz and Turks took part. During the organization, various posters with the words "Welcome to your beautiful homeland" and "Applause to the children of the beautiful homeland" were unveiled by the colleagues of the search and rescue team, with Kyrgyz and Turkish flags.
The Kyrgyz team, which included the Ministry's orchestra and was welcomed with a ceremony, was given flowers and then the Kyrgyz national anthem was sung. In the speech he made here, Minister of Emergency Situations, Mr. Ajikeyev, said, "We, as a brotherly people, have made all our efforts. Today, we welcome the search and rescue team that returned from a very heavy duty. The earthquakes that took place in Turkey had a great and profound effect on our fellow people. We, as the Kyrgyz people, have provided all our efforts to help our brotherly people." said. Congratulating the team members involved in search and rescue efforts in Turkey, Ajikeyev shared the information that they pulled 8 people out of the rubble and accessed 198 bodies.
