Fashion design program students attended the event organized by Fashion Design Program Instructors Meltem Özsan, Ş.Pınar Tunçok and Feride Hasret. With this activity, students gained new knowledge about the use of wool in today's fashion by understanding the source, formation, benefits and variety of uses of merino wool, as well as its place in the field of textile and fashion design.
The seminar, which was presented by the leading experts of the sector, had the opportunity to recognize the clothes made of wool material, while the students were able to distinguish the differences between each other by touching the wool fibers. At the end of the seminar, students had the opportunity to get to know the sector closely by asking questions about how wool-blend garments can be recycled, how wool can shape fashion in the future, and where it can be used.
