 Harmony of Colors and Its Spiritual Effect on People


The psychological effects of colors that we frequently use in our daily lives, at home, in our clothes, in our designs and in our work, on people are now a proven fact by scientific studies. From the food industry to the clothing industry, from the transportation industry to the education industry, every company benefits from the power of colors in their logo designs and advertisements for their brands.


When creating a color palette for our designs, it is necessary to pay attention to the harmony of colors with each other. It is the factor that is first noticed in design and affects how the garment or collection is perceived. Although the pattern, pattern, line and cut of the design you have made are very successful, if the color harmony is not good, the work will not be successful. The way we use colors is a matter of personal taste, but it is important to acquire basic knowledge of color theory, the psychological meanings of colors, and how colors should be created.

Warm-Cold-Neutral Colors and Their Meanings

Warm colors such as red, yellow and orange are more dominant in the light-receiving parts of the beings. Due to its strong vibration in the air, it affects the eye before other colors. It stimulates the viewer, cheers up, increases energy and dynamism, accelerates metabolism.
Cool colors such as green, blue and purple have less vibration than warm colors. It takes place more in the shaded parts of the assets. They affect the eye in the second degree. Spiritual influence; It represents feelings of sadness, comfort, confidence, seriousness, stability, creativity, health and development.
Neutral colors such as black, white and gray are often used as complementary colors to the main colors. While white gives a feeling of spaciousness, black creates a calmer, serious effect.
