The silk will be produced untouched by hand with the latest technology in the factory, which is planned to be established with a state grant in Bursa, and will then be converted into surgical suture.
Within the scope of the project initiated with the cooperation of TÜBİTAK and Bursa Uludağ University, the experiments on animal subjects for the surgical suture produced from silk have been completed.
