In the Hyperloop project, carried out by the UMD loop of the engineering teams supported by Elon Musk, the surface technology developed by the Turkish company for use in dental implants will be used. The technology developed by DTI Implant together with TÜBİTAK provides maximum adhesion of the implant to the bone by creating macro roughness. The surface called “SLA Active” gains hydrophilic properties by performing various treatments. Thanks to this feature, it attracts water, blood and bone cells. The UMD loop team will also use this feature for gluing the components (parts) of the tunnel digging machine and transportation vehicle.
