Cleaning Microplastics with Robot Fish

The amount of pollution in the world is increasing day by day in the oceans. Although cleaning works are carried out for visible plastics, the remaining microplastic parts from them can remain in water for years without dissolving. It was stated that microplastics in shallow waters can be cleaned with a 1.3 cm robot fish developed by scientists at Sichuan University in China. It was stated that the developed robot fish can be controlled by light. The robot fish, which does not cause problems for digestion if eaten by other fish in the waters, can also be evaluated in other projects and contribute to its service to people.
