Scientists are warning that we are about to exceed 2 degrees in global temperature rise. They state that this will make it impossible to live in many parts of our planet. To prevent this, they predict that technologies such as carbon capture and storage will be important, as well as natural solutions such as planting trees. The Carbon Capture and Storage Process takes place as follows. 1- The greenhouse gas from the power plant enters the absorption tower. 2- Solvent absorbs CO2 and releases other gases 3- Heat is used to separate CO2 from solvent. 4-The solvent is recycled and the treated CO2 is stored in the rock.
