The power plant, the construction of which began in 2018, provides employment to 20 thousand workers. It has become the world's largest nuclear power plant construction with hundreds of construction equipment. In Akkuyu NPP, which was built with the latest technology in terms of energy efficiency and safety, the status of the machinery is provided by the condition monitoring system supplied by the Danish company Brüel&Kjær (B&K) Vibro. Security in Nuclear Power Plants must be at the highest level. Almost all of the fans and pumps in the security system in Akkuyu are controlled by Brüel&KjærVibro systems by applying vibration monitoring. In addition, the steam turbine systems themselves will be monitored by the turbine monitoring system supplier.
