 Successful Autonomous Ship Study of ITU


The work of the project "Numerical and experimental hydroacoustic analysis of a ship model that can be propelled by remote control" was carried out at ITU Pond. Autonomous ship studies have resulted in success.

Under the scope of TÜBİTAK 10001 Project, Assoc. Dr. Ömer Kemal KINACI's "Numerical and experimental hydroacoustic analysis of a ship model that can be propelled by remote control" project successfully carried out the ITU Pond Tests. The ship's propeller speed and rudder angle can be determined by remote control. It is stated that the underwater noise and maneuverability measurements of the ship are compatible with the simulation.
