 A First in the Sky After Centuries




One of the longest partial lunar eclipses occurred 6 centuries later. The lunar eclipse which could be viewed from North America, South America, and Asia lasted 3 hours 28 minutes.

According to NASA, the longest partial lunar eclipse was last observed on February 18, 1440. The next eclipse will occur in 2669.
