40 Thousand New Employment
Northern Marmara Industry and Technology Valley will provide 40 thousand new employment.
In order to increase the industrial and technology production in Turkey and to produce high value-added products, the button has been pressed in Northern Marmara. 'North Marmara Industry and Technology Valley' was established right next to Istanbul Airport. The first target is to increase Turkey's value-added production with 40 thousand directly and 100 thousand indirectly employments.
TUBITAK President Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal stated that they have allocated 3.3 Billion TL for science and technology projects this year. The projects are planned to be used mostly in areas such as green transformation, nuclear technologies and hydrogen technologies. It is aimed to have a closer relationship between the universities that produce science and the industry. Stating that there are significant studies in the field of Biology and Genetics, Mandal said that they planned to establish Europe's largest R&D center in Gebze.
