Dear students, 2020-2021 Fall semester midterms will be held as tests and classical exams. While our students will take the test exams from https://sinav.gelisim.edu.tr/, they will take the classical exams from the LMS (lms.gelisim.edu.tr).
The guide about the test exam and the Classical exam is shared in Turkish and English on the LMS home page. Just like the homework activity, the classical exam will be restored and our students can load within the given exam period.
They will not be able to upload after the exam period has expired.
For the classical exam, which will be applied for the first time in the 2020-2021 Fall semester, the Answer Sheet in the LMS has been created for you to use during the exam. You must complete your exam by printing out this exam paper and writing down the answers to the questions asked to you.
If you do not have the opportunity to take a printout, you can also complete your exam with an A4 size white colored paper. You only need to write the information requested from you completely on blank paper.
You can find out what the information is by downloading the answer sheet (your personal information and information about the course). At the same time, if you mark the warnings and notes written on the answer sheet as "I have read/approved" this announcement, it means that you accept it.
Before your exam period expires, you must upload your answer sheet to your classic exam activity in LMS. You can upload a single file to the exam activity in LMS. That's why you can use the recommended programs as helpers.
Computer and Smartphone joint use:
Method 1 - If you have only one photo, you can upload it directly from your computer.
Method 2 - You can use the free WINRAR program that you can install on your computer (recommended): Add your transferred photos in a folder. Right click on the folder, select "Add to archive..." from the drop-down list. You can save as ZIP and upload this ZIP file to LMS.
Method 3 - You can take photos of your exam papers, transfer them to your computer, add them to the new Word file so that each photo is covered on a single Word page and upload this Word file to the LMS.
Smartphone use only:
Method 1 - If you have only one photo, you can upload it directly from your smartphone.
Method 2 - Install with Microsoft Lens:
Download Microsoft Lens from your App Market (AppStore for iOS, Google Play for Android).
Open the application and put it in "Document" mode. Take a photo of the answer sheet. If there is more than one, continue shooting with the "Add" button. After taking the photo of the answer sheet, press the “Done” button. Then select the “PDF” option. Select "My Files or Device Storage" as the storage area according to your device. Go to lms.gelisim.edu.tr, find the written exam event and click on it. Choose "Upload File", find the PDF file on your device and upload it.
IMPORTANT
If you have used more than one paper, do not forget to number your papers and sign each of them. Even if you fill out your exam paper in the computer environment, since it has to be a wet signature, you have to print it out, sign, number and upload it.
