Satellites are used in many fields and for different purposes. They may differ in weight, size, the trajectory of launch and the components they contain. They are mostly used for the following purposes: Astronomy Satellites, Communication Satellites, Satellites Used in Atmosphere Studies, Navigation Satellites, Spy Satellites, Meteorological Satellites etc. In addition, although most of them do not orbit around a large object, spacecraft used in space exploration are also called satellites. In a communication satellite there is a communication and service module. In the service module components such as batteries, fuel tanks, apogee boost engine, thrusters and reaction wheels. The communication module contains all electronic components. Fuel tanks and a central tube supporting the engine are located here. A satellite needs 3 (three) subsystems to stay in orbit. Communication satellites also have a communication system. These subsystems are Power System, Altitude and Orbit Control System, Tracking and Telemetry System. The power produced in the solar panels enables the electronic components to work. Coarse Sun Sensor ensures that the panels are always perpendicular to the sun to obtain the highest efficiency from the panels. With the Gyro and Star Trecker sensors, the orientation of the satellite with respect to the Earth and the stars is calculated and thus the desired coverage area of the antennas is created. Voyager 1 and 2 work with radioisotope thermoelectric generator technology.
