 Scholarship and Internship Opportunity for University Students from Turkish Informatics Foundation


Starting Point, the platform of the Turkish Informatics Foundation, provides 27 university students with rotational internship opportunities in the fields of data science, digital marketing/e-commerce, and software, in collaboration with Akbank, Eczacıbaşı Group, and Fazla.


The Starting Point, as a platform of the Turkish Informatics Foundation, is launching a rotational internship program called "Out-of-the-Middle Experience" in collaboration with Akbank, Eczacıbaşı Group, and Fazla. The program is designed for university students to take the first step in their career journey before graduation and gain internship experience. The project aims to promote the use of technology for a sustainable planet by bringing together young people and companies from different networks. This program offers university students the opportunity to take their first steps into their careers before graduation. The 27 third-year students to be selected are expected to choose one of the fields of data science, digital marketing/e-commerce, and software. Students participating in the program will have the chance to practice the knowledge they have gained in different pieces of training in 3 different companies by participating remotely or physically. In the program, the application process of which will continue until April 11, the candidates will do an internship for 3 months, each with a different company, for a total of 9 months. For the recruitment-oriented program, candidates will go through a process consisting of training and jury interviews, as well as tests and inventories that will help them measure their competencies. Applications to the Starting Point Academy 2023 program will be accepted through the “Microfon” platform. Participants accepted to the program will be supported by online training offered by experts through the “Enocta” platform. Turkish Informatics Foundation President Faruk Eczacıbaşı emphasized the importance of young people discovering their competencies and experiencing different sectors and stated that he believed this project would help young people progress more consciously in their career journeys.
