A useful information for PC users has emerged. HDDs need a rotating component and mechanical structure to read and write data. SSDs, on the other hand, are made up of NAND flash and do not need mobile hardware. Moving and mechanical parts wear off more. Hence, hard drives are less reliable than SSDs.
