A Supermassive Black Hole has been Discovered
Within the scope of the study carried out by the scientists at Leiden University in the Netherlands, Messier 77, which is located approximately 47 million light years away from Earth, has been scanned. A supermassive black hole covered with dust rings has been discovered at the center of Messier 77, scanned by the MATISSE instrument.
