 Who is the Animators Association and What Does It Do?


Animation Association is a non-governmental organization operating for the development and recognition of the animation and animation industry in Turkey. Founded in Istanbul in 2012, the association carries out activities to develop, support and research the animation industry in Turkey and to find solutions to the industry's problems.

The association organizes training, workshops, seminars, festivals, and competitions for professionals, students, and enthusiasts working in the animation industry in Turkey, prepares publications related to the industry, follows the developments in the industry, and informs the public about the animation industry in Turkey. It aims to produce animations that are known in the international arena, to grow the animation sector in Turkey, and to increase employment opportunities in the sector. It aims to contribute to the development of the animation industry in Turkey by drawing attention to the artistic and economic potential of animation. The project production process of the association usually consists of the following steps:
Project Idea: Suggestions from the management or members of the association, the needs in the sector, or the ideas about the problems of the sector play an important role in the formation of the projects of the association.
Planning: After the project idea is determined, the project team is formed, and project planning is done. The project team sets project goals, budgets, timelines, resources, and responsibilities.
Implementation: After the project planning is completed, the project implementation phase begins. At this stage, the project team performs its work to achieve the determined goals.
Monitoring and Evaluation: Throughout the project implementation process, the project team monitors and evaluates project progress and results. At this stage, it is checked whether the project objectives have been achieved and whether the project budget and resources have been complied with.
Reporting: When the project is finalized, the project team prepares the project report and shares the project results. The project report provides information about the success of the project, its problems, and recommendations, and contains information that will be useful in making similar projects in the future.
