 What is Unreal Engine?


Unreal Engine is a game engine developed by Epic Games. It is a tool used to streamline the game development process and create professional-quality games. Unreal Engine supports many features such as real-time 3D animations, visual effects, artificial intelligence, and physics simulations. Its origins date back to 1998 and were introduced with the first-person shooter game Unreal. Since then, Unreal Engine has been constantly being developed and new features added. Unreal Engine has become the platform of choice by many major studios in the gaming industry.


It is known to have a powerful graphics engine. It can bring a realistic and impressive visual quality to games with features such as advanced lighting, reflections, shadows, and atmospheric effects. In addition, complex game logic can be created using a visual coding system called Blueprints, and more realistic experiences can be offered with features such as motion capture and audio integration. This engine provides multi-platform support. Games can be developed and published on platforms such as PCs, consoles, mobile devices, and virtual reality. This allows developers to interact with a wide audience of games. The Unreal Engine gives game developers powerful tools to turn their imaginations into reality.
